Very hyped up, hard-to-get-reservation pizza shop, but well-deserved! I absolutely love the tomato sauce at this place. It is full of flavor, rich, tangy, bold, and really livens up every dish it touches. The spicy vodka pizza had sweet sausage and onion on top, which was a beautiful marriage of sweet and savory. The tie-dye pizza, their most popular pizza, was great. The pesto was a delicious addition, but I didn't think this pizza was that special. The pasta is truly for the meat lovers out there. You have meatballs, sausages, braciole. Full of beefy flavor. And that wonderful tomato sauce just squirting out of the lumache pasta, love pasta shapes that do that.

Rubirosa in Nolita is an iconic spot for anyone craving authentic Italian pizza. It's a popular place, so reservations are highly recommended. Even with a reservation, there was a small wait when we arrived, but the intimate and bustling setting made it worth it. The pizza here is legendary, known for its great marinara and perfectly thin crust. Made in a brick oven with fresh ingredients, each bite is a delight. We also tried the linguine with white clam sauce, which was a tasty addition to our meal. My favorite was the regular cheese pizza pie--not greasy at all, with a savory marinara and fresh cheese that really stood out. While the place can get a bit loud due to its popularity, the food more than makes up for it. If you're in the area and in the mood for some unforgettable pizza, Rubirosa is a must-visit.

The Olympics in Paris and Restaurant Week NYC are currently in full swing and fine dining invitations in the evenings easily slip from gastronomical bliss to an abyss of over indulgence without clear pursuit of personal preferences in flavor or taste. Then you visit RubiRosa for what is familiar and comforting. To be stunned by its visually captivating Cosmopolitan prepared by bartender extraordinaire Elijah Tastes sensational to say the least I have no words for how it stopped time for me Except, perhaps, that the late legendary jazz pianist Dave Brubeck's 'Take 5' started to play in my mind with every sip of the Belvedere Organic Vodka infused cocktail made both famous and infamous throughout 'Sex in the City' My kids and their friend devored the usual amazing fare of pizza and zeppole While I continue to marvel at the perfect pairings only RubiRosa can execute in its unique signature way(s) Summer stays SoHo sweet. Happy August!

One of the top Italian places in town and yet I was lucky enough to get a table for 2 in the last minute. Entering the restaurant I realized why that was possible. The restaurant kept going inwards and was super lengthy and they were able squeeze in table along the way. We got a table right next to the kitchen but still the ambiance was lovely. We were surrounded by their branded marinara sauces and other pasta sauce and famous personalities who had visited the restaurant. My order: Roman Cacio e Pepe The TIE DYE™ Pizza Rubirosa Supreme If you're vegetarian, this place does specialize in veggie dishes. I just loved the caio e pepe. Very succulent and juicy pecorino. They also do a half-and-half of pizzas. We built one side with tie dye and the other with the supreme. Definitely the pizzas were heavenly. Didn't make the bust or the crust thick and the ones where you would not want to even waste their crusts. We also get a welcome basked of bread with olive oil.
